City Council Election
The Del Mar City Council is comprised of five elected City Councilmembers who serve staggered four-year terms. Mayor and Deputy Mayor appointments rotate annually among City Councilmembers. The City consolidates the election with the statewide general municipal election, which will be held on November 3, 2026.
