About the Traffic & Parking Advisory Committee
The Traffic & Parking Advisory Committee (TPAC) is a committee actively pursuing the improvement of the safety of pedestrians, bicyclists, and the motoring public in Del Mar. Whether it is an issue with speeding, reoccurring regulatory violations, traffic congestion, parking problems, or taking an interest in new technologies that can better serve the residents and visitors to Del Mar. TPAC works through the issues considering carefully the impacts on both local residents and users of our streets and sidewalks. Always considering safety, the committee works with Parking Enforcement, the Fire Department, the San Diego Sheriff's officers, City Manager's Office, Public Works Department, Planning Department, and the City's traffic engineer seeking the best solution to an issue before presenting a recommendation to the City Council.
