Summer Rules – June 16 through Labor Day
- North Beach Area (29th Street north to Solana Beach Border): Dogs MUST be leashed and restrained at all times EXCEPT from dawn to 8:00 am
- Main Beach Area (Between Powerhouse Park and 29th Street): NO dogs allowed at any time
- South Beach (Between Powerhouse Park and Torrey Pines Beach Border): Dogs MUST be leashed and restrained at all times
Off Season Rules – Day after Labor Day through June 15
- North Beach Area (29th Street north to Solana Beach Border): Dogs permitted off-leash BUT must be under voice control
- Main Beach Area (Between Powerhouse Park and 29th Street): Dogs MUST be leashed at all times EXCEPT from dawn to 8:00 am
- South Beach (Between Powerhouse Park and Torrey Pines Beach Border): Dogs MUST be leashed and restrained at all times
